Guide, train, and
support online faculty in the design, production, delivery and
assessment of quality online instruction for the SNHU Online program
|

Identify and
develop training materials and opportunities for faculty to support
their teaching efforts online
|
| · |
Provide coaching
(informally and in formal reviews) in the best-practice approaches for
course design, curriculum development, instructional design and
teaching strategies for the online environment throughout each term
|
| · |
Support the manager
of faculty development and instructional support in maintaining and
updating the SNHU Online Faculty Handbook and other related support
materials
|
| · |
Suggest and/or
implement constant process improvement in the design, format, and
method of online instructional delivery
|
| · |
In collaboration
with technical support, provide ongoing and proactive Blackboard and
technology help to instructors
|
| · |
As needed,
participate in the SNHU Institute for Online Education by providing
research support, design, and delivery of professional development
opportunities for SNHU instructors and educators in related fields
|
| · |
Review course
evaluations/student feedback, and inform instructors when issues of
general concern arise
|
| · |
Working closely
with the Manager of Faculty Develoment and Instructional Support and
the Director of SNHU Online, develop relationships with SNHU
academic departments, continuing education centers, and program
professors, chairs, deans, and directors
|
| · |
Perform continuous
needs assessment activities to ensure the requirements of evolving
online academic quality goals are met
|
| · |
Travel occasionally
in support of marketing efforts
|
| · |
Work closely with
other members of the SNHU Online and Continuing Education teams to
coordinate and streamline services to faculty
|
